Terhi Oy
Terhi Oy’s roots go back to the year 1972 when the factory producing boats and other plastic products was established in the small archipelago community of Rymättylä on the South-West coast of Finland. During the years the production has grown to 18 different Terhi boat models and over 5000 units yearly volume. With this volume, distributed in over 20 countries across Europe and North America, Terhi Oy is the largest producer of hards-hell boats in Europe. A small part of Terhi Oy’s turnover still comes from sub-contract manufacturing of plastic parts.
In 2009 Terhi Oy aqcuired the Sea Star boats and at the same time expanded its’ range to boats larger than 5m in length.
Nestled in the beautiful Finnish Archipelago, Terhi has every reason to cherish its unique natural surroundings. The production process for Terhi boats creates no emissions hazardous to nature, into land, water or air. ABS thermo-plastic is a recyclable material, and all plastic waste resulting from production is either recycled or re-used. The polyurethane foam used in the sandwich construction does not contain any ozonedepleting CFC compounds.
