Easy repair of surface dents
The thermoplastic ABS plastic material used for the hulls of Terhi boats is extremely durable and withstands knocks hard enough to seriously damage ordinary GRP hulls. However, even the toughest materials can sometimes suffer surface damage. Repairing Terhi boats has thus been made as simple as possible. Using the Terhi Fix compound and following these simple instructions any boat owner will be able to repair dents in his boat easily and without a risk. After the repair the damaged area will be as strong as it originally was. Dents and abrasions are repaired with the two-component Terhi Fix, whose components are first carefully mixed. Note that the contents of the pack are intended to be used entirely; do not change the mixing ratio. The two-component Terhi Fix compound is available in packages of 120, 300 g and 1 kg and Terhi ABS paints are supplied in all the Terhi boat colours.
 1. Clean dirt and loose particles from the damaged area. Sandpaper the immediate surrounding and chamfer the edges.
 2. Mix the urethane compounds. The contents of the cans are in a correct proportion; use the entire contents of both cans. Fill the damaged spot until the repair compound is slightly proud of the surrounding surface.
 3. When the repaired spot feels hard and elastic, scrape the surplus away and sandpaper down to the surrounding level. The repair now only requires painting.
 4. Paint with either Terhi ABS spray paint or with two-compound urethane paint using a brush.
